Waste Collection and Reception
The power plant operations begin with the waste reception. If the waste is source-separated, then each waste fraction can be stored in their own silos. General waste is dumped in a common waste reception bunker, or in some case on to a waste field. The right solution depends on local conditions. In dry areas, a large waste fields allows waste time to dry up, whereas in rainy regions there must be an enclosed, or at least roofed, waste reception and storage facility. Humidity has a major impact on the calorific value and combustibility of the waste.
Normally waste collection is not part of our scope, but we can offer our expertize to support it. Naturally, the higher the level of waste source sorting, the easier it is to recycle inert materials and the more efficiently the power plant runs.
